SM 301 - Stable Management
Managing a horse operation, big or small, is a demanding but rewarding undertaking. Whether you run your own facility or hope to manage one for someone else, New Horizons' Stable Management (SM 301) series will help you learn the "business" of horse care.

Establishing a business plan, creating a safe and satisfying environment, applying practical and economical horse-keeping techniques, and maximizing the rewards for your efforts are the focus of these special lessons.

Unique to this program is its individualized approach. You will learn to solve problems, evaluate operational pros and cons, and make effective decisions as they relate to your own set-up. Instead of quizzes, you will submit a mid-series and final evaluation project to satisfy course requirements and earn your Certificate of Achievement. Course includes:

  • Initial Business Plan
  • Pasture and Fences
  • Barns & Equipment
  • Stalls, Paddocks & Runs
  • Before the Horses Arrive
  • After the Horses Arrive
  • Stable Safety
  • Pride & Enjoyment

Price: $75.00
